“This 15th-century manor offers a luxurious stay near Cheltenham Racecourse, though the spa, while pleasant, might be considered a smaller amenity rather than a full destination. I find the commitment to blending historic architecture with modern comforts particularly appealing. While some guests have noted inconsistencies in service, the extensive grounds and pet-friendly options make it a worthwhile consideration for a relaxing getaway.”

a very special stay

gorgeous groundsconvenient drivelovely roomscramped spa
I really enjoyed the surrounding land to explore. i found the rooms lovely, and the location was quite. the drive into the town centre only took about ten minutes. It was very convenient. i found the grounds to be gorgeous too.
The spa was quite small, and when there were several guests, it felt cramped. this made it hard to relax. I would not consider this a spa hotel. i think more attention should be given to space and comfort.

inconsistent temperaturesubpar toiletries
My stay lacked certain refinements i expect. the shower was problematic with inconsistent temperature control, it fluctuated from hot to cold without warning. additionally, the quality of toiletries was subpar for this hotel. The provided shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling dry and lifeless, not what i anticipate at a premium hotel.

The hotel grounds were well kept with beautiful views. Ample free parking was available. I found the outdoor pool location and view really nice. The staff members were great and friendly, especially at breakfast.
