Ellenborough Park, Bishop's Cleeve

Ellenborough Park offers a beautiful setting near the Cheltenham racecourse, making it a great venue for a getaway. The warm atmosphere and clean rooms enhance the experience, although I did encounter some minor issues with service and dining that prevented it from being perfect. The luxurious spa treatments were a highlight, but the breakfast experience could be improved.

I recently spent a weekend at this hotel and found the atmosphere quite charming, especially the serene grounds and historical appeal. The staff was quite pleasant, and I appreciated the warm welcome with a complimentary drink. However, service during meals was noticeably slow, which marred some of the dining experiences. While the spa facilities were relaxing, I had some mixed feelings about the overall value for the price paid.

The outdoor heated pool was a unique highlight, offering a fun swimming experience.
